Welcome to the homepage of the Finnish Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Division

The Finnish Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Division is part of the Association of Finnish Chemical Societes. The members of the group are interested in thermal analysis (including pyrolysis), and calorimetry in all its aspects.

The Division promotes collaboration and communication between the members, and widens the national awareness and knowledge on thermal analysis and calorimetry. The Division is active in organization of thermoanalytical courses and other educational events whose material is also occasionally published. Important task of the Division is to mantain the international relationships to other corresponding organisations.

The Division was founded in November 2001. The number of members is 83 at this moment (May 2010).

The membership can be granted to persons, societes, and companies, which are interested in thermoanalysis and calorimetry.
